Do I need a degree in art history to apply?
Not at all. While a background in the arts or humanities can be beneficial, it's not required. What truly matters is your motivation, cultural curiosity, and a clear interest in the international art market. Whether you come from art history, business, communication, or another field, the Specialized MBA International Art Market equips you with the professional skills and industry insights needed to succeed in today's global art ecosystem.
What makes this Specialized MBA different from a Master in Art History?
Unlike traditional academic degrees that are more theory-oriented, this MBA emphasizes hands-on, professional learning. Students gain real-world experience through industry projects, 11-12 months of internships, and strong partnerships with galleries, art fairs, and auction houses. It's designed for those who want to work in the art market, not just study it.
What kind of projects will I work on during the Specialized MBA International Art Market?
Students participate in immersive, career-building experiences such as: organizing charity auctions, curating exhibitions of emerging artists, leading cultural mediation initiatives and collaborating on major international art events. These projects strengthen your management, curatorial, and organizational expertise in real-world settings.
