A 12-month course at ICART Paris:

6 months’ course in English
6 months of corporate training

Optional : An international double degree in partnership with NYIT in New York (USA)

Objectives :

To manage and run a company trading in objects, furniture and works of art, and in particular to define its strategy for the development, acquisition and sale of works of art.
Manage the distribution and circulation of works of art by organizing or supervising all transport and logistics activities related to the movement and conservation of works.
Provide artistic consultancy services by carrying out the necessary expert appraisals and offering art asset management services.
Work as part of a team and in partnership with various Market players, cooperating with cultural institutions, artists, collectors, art critics and interlocutors with multidisciplinary expertise.

Targeted skills :

Design and participate in the management of a strategy for the acquisition or production of works of art (1st and 2nd markets).
Define and manage the marketing and promotion of works of art (1st and 2nd markets).
Supervise the financial, administrative and managerial aspects of marketing works of art.

Methods used :

Courses given by professionals working in the art market field.
Case studies of real-life situations entrusted to us by our artistic and cultural partners.
Management of a real-life team project, in partnership with art market players.
Masterclasses: meetings with professionals and sharing of experiences with art market players.
Cultural outings and partner events throughout the year.

Assessment / certification :

Continuous assessment during the course, and a professional dissertation at the end of the course.
Level 7 certification (equivalent to Bac+5) is conditional on validation of all the skill blocks making up the qualification.
No continuation / No bridging.
